Details of IVF treatment
In vitro fertilization includes a number of blood tests, cultures, hysterosalpingography (HSG), hormonal examinations, physician examination and cost explanations. It is appropriate for the spouses to come together for the first interview.
You will not be charged at this stage. The woman will be asked many questions about her menstrual order, whether her menstruation is painful, the amount of menstrual bleeding, if any, previous pregnancies and the operations she has undergone.
The man will be informed about genital trauma, operation, infection, medications and diseases. For this reason, it is useful to bring with you all the previous examination and treatment information about your medical history (blood tests, prescriptions, medicated uterine film, spermiogram etc.). In this way, unnecessary repetition of some tests can be prevented. The cervical film you have taken before is also examined by your doctor. If there is a medical requirement (such as a uterine operation after this film or more than 2 years), it may be necessary to repeat the examination or the uterus may be evaluated by alternative methods (sono HSG, hysteroscopy, etc.).
First, after the information about your medical history is collected, a gynecological examination is performed during a certain period of your period.
After a routine examination, a “trial transfer” (Mock transfer) procedure with an empty catheter will be performed to guide a possible embryo transfer.
