Comprendre ses causes aide a envisager les solutions possibles.<\/p>\n<h2>Qu&#8217;est-ce que l&#8217;azoospermie ?<\/h2>\n<p>On parle d&#8217;azoospermie lorsqu&#8217;aucun spermatozoide n&#8217;est retrouve dans l&#8217;ejaculat, confirme sur au moins deux analyses. On distingue deux grandes formes, qui n&#8217;ont pas la meme prise en charge.<\/p>\n<h2>Les deux grands types<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Azoospermie obstructive<\/strong> : la production de spermatozoides existe, mais un obstacle empeche leur passage. Les causes peuvent etre une absence de canaux, une infection ancienne ou une intervention anterieure.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Azoospermie non obstructive<\/strong> : la production elle-meme est reduite ou absente, souvent pour des raisons hormonales ou genetiques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Comment est-elle exploree ?<\/h2>\n<p>Le bilan comprend en general un examen clinique, des dosages hormonaux, parfois une echographie et des analyses genetiques. Ces examens aident a determiner le type d&#8217;azoospermie et les options envisageables.<\/p>\n<h2>Quelles solutions ?<\/h2>\n<p>Dans de nombreux cas, il est possible de rechercher des spermatozoides directement dans les testicules, grace a des techniques de prelevement, puis de les utiliser en micro-injection (ICSI).
