Simple et indolore, il apporte des informations precieuses sur la fertilite masculine et aide a orienter la prise en charge.<\/p>\n<h2>A quoi sert cet examen ?<\/h2>\n<p>Il evalue la quantite et la qualite des spermatozoides. Ses resultats participent au choix de la technique la plus adaptee, par exemple entre une FIV classique et une micro-injection (ICSI).<\/p>\n<h2>Comment se deroule-t-il ?<\/h2>\n<p>L&#8217;echantillon est recueilli au laboratoire, apres une periode d&#8217;abstinence de deux a cinq jours generalement conseillee. Cette abstinence permet d&#8217;obtenir un resultat representatif.<\/p>\n<h2>Les principaux parametres analyses<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>La concentration<\/strong> : le nombre de spermatozoides par millilitre.<\/li>\n<li><strong>La mobilite<\/strong> : leur capacite a se deplacer.<\/li>\n<li><strong>La morphologie<\/strong> : la proportion de spermatozoides de forme normale.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Le volume<\/strong> et d&#8217;autres caracteristiques du liquide seminal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Interpreter les resultats avec prudence<\/h2>\n<p>Un resultat isole ne suffit pas a conclure : la production de spermatozoides varie dans le temps et peut etre influencee par la fatigue, une infection ou une fievre recente. C&#8217;est pourquoi l&#8217;examen est parfois repete a quelques semaines d&#8217;intervalle.<\/p>\n<h2>Et apres ?<\/h2>\n<p>Selon les resultats, le medecin peut proposer des examens complementaires ou orienter vers la technique la mieux adaptee.
